1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, invoices and services supplied by JRT Solutions Australia Pty Ltd (“Supplier”). By accepting a quotation, engaging the Supplier, or making payment, the client (“Client”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2. Quotations

All quotations are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated. The Supplier reserves the right to amend pricing after this period due to material cost changes, scope variations or market fluctuations.

3. Scope of Services

The Supplier provides electrical installation services only unless expressly agreed in writing.

All works are performed in accordance with:

• Relevant Australian Standards
• Queensland legislation and regulations
• Manufacturer specifications

The Supplier does not assume responsibility for engineering design, load calculations, system performance, or professional advisory services unless specifically agreed in writing.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client must:

• Provide accurate drawings, specifications and site information
• Ensure safe and reasonable site access
• Ensure any required engineering approvals are obtained

Where the Supplier relies on documents or instructions provided by the Client or third parties, the Supplier is not responsible for design or documentation errors.

5. Variations

Any variation to the agreed scope of works may result in additional charges. Variations must be agreed verbally or in writing before proceeding where practicable.

6. Price & Payment Terms

All prices are in Australian Dollars and exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Payment is due within fourteen (14) days from the invoice date.

Time for payment is of the essence.

7. Late Payment

If payment is not received by the due date, interest will be charged at a rate of 2% per month, calculated daily on outstanding amounts until paid in full.

The Supplier reserves the right to suspend works or withhold further services where accounts remain overdue.

8. Retention of Title

Ownership of goods supplied remains with the Supplier until payment is received in full. The Client grants the Supplier permission to enter the premises to recover goods if payment is not made.

9. Warranty

The Supplier provides services subject to statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, the Supplier’s liability is limited to:

• Re-supply of the services; or
• The cost of re-supply of the services.

Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied materials and equipment where applicable.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Supplier shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential loss
• Loss of production or business interruption
• Financial losses arising from system design not provided by the Supplier

The Supplier’s total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the relevant services.

11. Insurance

The Supplier maintains appropriate Public Liability insurance and other insurances as required by law.

12. Force Majeure

The Supplier shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control including supply shortages, extreme weather, industrial disputes or government actions.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation before commencing legal proceedings.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
